Take the first step toward becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with �鶹��ý��’s Pre-Dietetics Certificate Program (formerly the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or AND Certificate). Designed for students pursuing a career in nutrition and dietetics, this program provides up to 84 credits in the sciences, nutrition and food studies needed to advance to graduate-level dietetics training.

Graduates of the Pre-Dietetics Certificate Program who complete 83–84 semester hours with a minimum 3.2 GPA will be eligible to apply for the M.S. in Nutrition and Food Science – Dietetics Concentration. This graduate program (GP) is ACEND-accredited and accepting applications.

Program Highlights:

Comprehensive curriculum covering foundational and advanced nutrition coursework
ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)
Completion provides eligibility to apply to the MS in Nutrition and Food Science-Dietetics Concentration (ACEND-accredited GP)

Accreditation Statement

Accredited by the , the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) at �鶹��ý�� includes required coursework necessary to complete core knowledge requirements and learning outcomes. An ACEND Verification Statement is issued to DPD students after successful completion of required coursework has been verified (i.e., grade of “C” or better in all DPD courses and demonstrated attainment of every dietetics core knowledge requirement (KRDN) throughout the program).
