Teaching Middle Grades Mathematics Certificate does not provide initial teaching certification or secondary teaching endorsement. If you are a certified teacher and wish to obtain a secondary endorsement to teach middle grades mathematics, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/academics\/programs\/online-elementary-school-with-subject-matter-specialization-mathematics-grades-5-8\/\">Certification in Elementary School with Subject Matter Specialization: Mathematics Grades 5-8<\/a> is the right program for you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-band no-margin\"><div class=\"text-content\">\n<h2>Admission Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Equivalent of a U.S. bachelor&#8217;s degree.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants with non-U.S. degrees: Please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/how-to-apply\/international-applicants\/\">international applicants page<\/a> to review U.S. degree equivalency information.<\/li>\n<li>*Students seeking an F1\/J1 visa are not eligible for this certificate program unless they are currently pursuing a master&#8217;s degree at 麻豆传媒在线 and are able to simultaneously pursue both programs while maintaining their student visa requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application Checklist<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Application Deadline: Rolling admission.<\/li>\n<li>Online Application: <a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.montclair.edu\/apply\/\">Submit application<\/a> and $60 non-refundable fee (or waiver if applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Transcript: One from each college attended.<\/li>\n<li>Essays\/Statement of Purpose: Please write an integrated essay providing a response to each of the following questions:\n<ul>\n<li>What are your goals for graduate study and your future career?<\/li>\n<li>In what ways do your academic background and your professional experiences provide evidence of your potential for success in the program you selected and in your eventual career?
