Incoming freshmen are eligible to participate in 麻豆传媒在线\u2019s Summer Bridge Scholars Program and earn six degree credits<\/strong>. The 2026 program is scheduled for June 29th to July 30th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Registration for our 2026 program is closed. <\/strong>If you have questions, contact Summer Sessions by calling 973-655-7260<\/a> or emailing summerbridge@montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n The registration deadline for the Summer Bridge Scholars Program will close once we reach capacity. Space is limited and after completing the application, applicants will receive a notification to pay the $250 Summer Deposit to secure a space.<\/p>\n View the Course Schedules Today:<\/p>\n The 2026 Summer Bridge Scholars Program is designed for incoming first year scholars and runs from June 29th to July 30th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Summer Bridge is designed to prepare our students for college success and readiness. The program will give students the advantage of becoming acclimated with the University, prior to their first semester officially beginning this fall, while earning credits that will count towards their degree.<\/p>\n Students enrolled in the program will:<\/p>\n Our webinars are designed to answer any questions you may have and provide you with all the information you need before registering for the Summer Bridge Scholars Program. We have a few sessions available:<\/p>\n The Summer Bridge Scholars Program is for incoming, deposited freshmen students for Fall 2026<\/strong>. Please note: Nursing majors, Educational Opportunity Fund Scholars, and Health Careers Program students are not eligible for this program.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n Once you deposit, you’ll be able to submit our Summer Bridge Scholars Program Registration form!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n Can I receive accommodations similar to an IEP or 504? Are meals available?<\/strong> Can I participate in Summer Bridge if I am an Educational Opportunity Fund, Nursing or Health Careers Program student?<\/strong> I have dual enrollment\/AP credits that I am transferring to 麻豆传媒在线. Can I still participate in Summer Bridge?<\/strong> If I live on campus for the Summer Bridge program can I stay on weekends?<\/strong> Are the residence halls shared?<\/strong> What happens after I sign up?<\/strong> When will the course offerings be announced for the Summer Bridge Program?<\/strong> If I participate in the commuter 6 (Hybrid track), does that mean I have to join classes via Zoom or will I just get assigned work to complete?<\/strong> Are the events from 1:30 pm-4:00 pm required?<\/strong> Will I be able to choose which two courses I would like to take over the summer or will they be assigned to me?<\/strong>\n

\nMeals are available and free of charge to all in-person participants. Commuters will be issued Red Hawk Dollars credit to cover some meals.<\/p>\n
\nEducational Opportunity Fund and Health Careers Program students have their own summer program that takes place at the same time as Summer Bridge, so it is not possible for EOF and HCP students to participate in Summer Bridge. For Nursing students, due to the nature of the nursing program and the cohort model, the curriculum is already planned for each semester and does not include a summer session.<\/p>\n
\nYes, please indicate any pre college credits on your application!<\/p>\n
\nWeekly Thursday afternoon checkout is mandatory unless you are a non-NJ resident student or have extreme extenuating circumstances. Out of State Scholars and those with extreme circumstances can apply for weekend housing (approximately $500) by submitting the Summer Bridge Weekend Housing Request Form<\/a>. Weekend housing is not guaranteed. Please note if approved the cost for weekend housing must be paid for in advance and meals are not included.<\/p>\n
\nStudents will be housed in doubles with a roommate.<\/p>\n
\nStudents receive a confirmation email after signing up for the program. Students must complete a list of action items, including submitting vaccination documents no later than June 1st. Students will be registered for classes that are carefully selected by their academic dean and advisors, schedules will be available by mid-June.<\/p>\n
\nStudents will be notified of their official schedule by mid-June. Students will be placed into courses based on their major, these courses will be counted toward graduation credits.<\/p>\n
\nThe online courses will have a mix of synchronous and asynchronous work.<\/p>\n
\nThe afternoon activities – Academic Support, Tutoring, and Workshops are required.<\/p>\n
\nCourses will be assigned to each student and students will receive a schedule in mid-June. Students do not select their courses.<\/p>\n
