On-campus housing is guaranteed for students who have paid their housing deposit by May 1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The new student deposit and housing deposit are non-refundable.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Questions about your New Student Deposit? Contact the Office of Residence Life at <a href=\"tel:973-655-5188\">973-655-5188<\/a> or email <a href=\"mailto:reslife@montclair.edu\">reslife@montclair.edu<\/a> for assistance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-step\"><div class=\"prpl-step-number\"><span class=\"label-part\">Step<\/span> <span class=\"number-part\">4<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-step-content\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer open\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Set Up Your 麻豆传媒在线 Email Account and NetID<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>You will receive a confirmation email from Undergraduate Admissions with the subject line, \u201c<em>Your New Student Deposit and 麻豆传媒在线 NetID<\/em>.\u201d Your NetID is your login for many web-based University systems, including your Google account.\u00a0The email we send you will give you your NetID and instructions for setting it up. As part of activating your NetID, you\u2019ll have to confirm your identity through a challenge question. <strong>As a new student, you must choose the \u201cCWID\u201d challenge question.<\/strong> Your CWID can be found at the top of your <a href=\"https:\/\/apply.montclair.edu\/portal\/nextsteps\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/apply.montclair.edu\/portal\/nextsteps\">Accepted Student Portal<\/a>. Your NetID cannot be activated until after you <a href=\"https:\/\/apply.montclair.edu\/portal\/nextsteps\"><strong>submit your new student deposit<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After you activate your NetID,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/security\/duo-mfa\/#initial-enrollment\" title=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/security\/duo-mfa\/#initial-enrollment\">you MUST enroll and set up Duo Multi-Factor Authentication<\/a>\u00a0(MFA) <strong>before classes begin<\/strong> for access to University systems. Duo Mobile makes logging in easier by providing a verification code through your phone or device. After you activate your NetID, please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/security\/duo-mfa\/#initial-enrollment\" title=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/security\/duo-mfa\/#initial-enrollment\">Initial Enrollment Steps<\/a>\u00a0for instructions to set up DUO.<\/p>\n<p>It may take 24 hours until you\u2019re able to successfully log in to other campus systems after setting up your NetID. To access your 麻豆传媒在线 Google account, sign into Google.com with your NetID@montclair.edu Gmail and password. Don\u2019t forget to add your new 麻豆传媒在线 email to your phone and check it regularly!
