Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß in Your Neighborhood: Philadelphia and LA
Posted in: Alumni News and Events
With more than 125,000 alumni living in all 50 states and worldwide, the Office of Alumni Relations at Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß hosts events across the country to give alumni a chance to connect and network with others in their neighborhood. You already have one thing in common: Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß! It’s all about connections, and your connection to Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß lasts a lifetime. As part of an ongoing initiative to create a network among Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß graduates in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Philadelphia, and the West Coast, our goal is to bring Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß engagement opportunities to these regions.
Past gatherings have been held in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Naples, Sarasota, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, and in multiple locations in New Jersey including the Jersey Shore, Clifton, Jersey City, Morristown and Hoboken.
On March 24, Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß will host a gathering in Philadelphia at The Barnes Foundation. Alumni and friends in the area are invited to a luncheon reception followed by a museum tour. Attendees will also hear an exclusive update on Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß’s notable recent accomplishments and exciting future plans. Expected attendees include four members of the Class of 1968 which will be celebrating their milestone 50th reunion this May.
“We are excited to bring Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß to the Philadelphia region,” says Jenna Villani ’11 MA, Associate Director of Alumni Relations. “Alumni and guests in attendance will have the chance to hear what’s new at Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, while meeting fellow alumni from the area. It’s a great way to reconnect with their alma mater.”
Later this Spring, in what has become an annual tradition, Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß will hit the road and travel to Los Angeles. Michael Price ’81, Co-Executive Producer & Writer for The Simpsons, will again host alumni and guests at Fox Studios. Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß has hosted events in Los Angeles each year at various locations including Sony Studios, NBC Universal Studios, and Fox Studios. Save the date and mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 20.
