End of Semester Party at Alexander Kasser Theater!

Come celebrate the end of the sensational Fall 2015 semester!
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß students are invited to celebrate the end of the fall semester at the Alexander Kasser Theater on Thursday, December 10. The festivities begin at 6:30 pm with free food and great prizes in the Upper Lobby.  Students are invited to stay for the world premiere performance of Liz Gerring Dance Company’s Horizon at 7:30 pm (no charge for undergrads with valid Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß ID) and at 8:30 pm, to enjoy desserts and meet the dancers in the lobby after the show.

From its inception in 2005, Peak Performances, formed under the artistic direction of ACP’s Executive Director Jedediah Wheeler, has brought a wide range of internationally acclaimed artists and productions to the Alexander Kasser Theater. With an emphasis on inter-disciplinary work, Peak Performances has presented more than 50 world and American premieres by international artists such as South African director Robyn Orlin; Belgian artist, writer, director Jan Fabre; Italian theater artist Romeo Castellucci; British choreographer Wayne McGregor; Brazilian choreographer Sonia Destri; and Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite. The wide variety of American artists that the Peak series has presented include works by choreographers Bill T. Jones and Susan Marshall; Jazz comÂposer Fred Hersch; and theater director/choreographer David Gordon, among many others.
