Student involvement on campus is an important supplement to the academic college experience. An active student leader develops skills in organizational planning, interpersonal communication and time management while building strong relationships with peers. Becoming a member of a group is easy, but becoming a leader requires having the knowledge of University and student government regulations coupled with the understanding of policies and procedures.

This guide was developed to assist student leaders (both current and emerging) in becoming more familiar with the important information needed to be successful. The professional staff are here to assist you with all aspects of planning events on campus. Student leaders are encouraged to contact us if they have any questions concerning any of the information provided in these guidelines. The Office of Student Engagement reserves the right to modify any of the policies listed at any time.

Contact the Office of Student Engagement
