Based on the 2016 graduating class of 2016\u2019s exit survey\u2013 589 respondents<\/p>\n
Psychology, being one of the largest majors in the University, had many students enrolled in internships and cooperative education work experiences during the last academic year. Joining the Psychology majors were Sociology majors eager to gain experience in social service settings and non-profits.\u00a0 Psychology and Sociology students were working at the American Cancer Society, Brain Balance, Over the Rainbow, The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, Prospect Heights Care Center and many other agencies in the local area.<\/p>\n
Students in English, Italian, Spanish, Political Science, Justice Studies, Child Advocacy and History were also actively involved in cooperative education and internship experiences during the academic year.<\/p>\n
Twenty percent of our graduating seniors decided to pursue graduate studies at both the master\u2019s and doctoral levels soon after graduation. Students entered graduate programs in Child Advocacy, Business Administration, Educational Leadership, Law, Library Science, Speech and Language Pathology and Social Work, to name a few.<\/p>\n
