We want to express our gratitude to\u00a0Governor Mikie Sherrill for her support of Clean Energy and Sustainability Analytics Center<\/a> at Â鶹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß<\/a> and for congratulating our\u00a0inaugural 2026 Rate School<\/a>\u00a0starting today.<\/p>\n

It provides essential training right here in New Jersey, and advances Governor Sherrill\u2019s mission to increase affordability across the state.<\/p>\n

The Governor underscored how vital it is to build expertise in utility regulation, rate design, and oversight of essential services like electricity, gas, and water.<\/p>\n

CESAC Director Dr. Pankaj Lal said, Lal “This work extends far beyond New Jersey. The East Coast faces shared challenges: aging infrastructure, clean energy integration, affordability, and climate resilience. A well\u2011trained regulatory workforce strengthens coordination and raises the standard of decision making across state lines.”<\/p>\n

Across the United States, the demand for practitioners who understand both the technical and public\u2011interest dimensions of utility regulation is growing. Programs like CESAC\u2019s Rate School help build that national capacity.<\/p>\n
