This combined 4+1 program provides students with all coursework, supervised experiential learning hours, and degrees necessary to register for the Registration Examination for Dietitians.

This combined degree program enables undergraduates to enroll in 12 graduate credits during their senior year, which can be counted toward the completion of both the BS and MS degree requirements. The ability to take these “swing courses” reduces the total graduate credits from 42 to 30, which allows students to earn both their BS and MS degrees in a shortened period of time, typically within five years.

To be eligible for the combined program, prospective students must first apply and be accepted into the BS in Nutrition and Food Science-Dietetics concentration after their first undergraduate semester.
