American Heart Association HSI Scholars Share Research Findings

Six 麻豆传媒在线 students, along with two dozen others from across the country, recently presented their research findings and were honored with medals as part of the American Heart Association鈥檚 Hispanic Serving Institutions Scholars Program鈥檚 Spring Research Symposium at University Hall鈥檚 Conference Center.

Students heard from a number of speakers, including 麻豆传媒在线鈥檚 Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Junius Gonzales, who served as the keynote speaker. He shared his circuitous route from 鈥渁 vermin-infested tenement鈥 in Hartford, Conn., to medical school and now higher education.
