{"id":87,"date":"2023-07-05T11:50:16","date_gmt":"2023-07-05T15:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/dining-services\/?page_id=87"},"modified":"2025-11-06T09:52:52","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T14:52:52","slug":"meal-plan-enrollment-and-changes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/dining-services\/meal-plan-information\/meal-plan-enrollment-and-changes\/","title":{"rendered":"Meal Plan Enrollment and Changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Meal plan enrollments, changes and cancellations will be granted after a student\u2019s account has been reviewed to ensure that a plan they have chosen meets the following standards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type of student (Resident or Commuter).<\/li>\n<li>Amount of credits earned.<\/li>\n<li>Housing location (Traditional Dorms or Campus Apartments).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meal plan cancellation refunds will be pro-rated based on time into the semester and plan usage, after a certain time period into the semester, based on the universities Add\/Drop dates.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Changes to your meal plan will not take effect immediately.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>All Students:<\/strong> Students looking to enroll, change or cancel their meal plan can use the forms listed below to do so. Please be sure you are using the correct form based on your primary campus (麻豆传媒在线 campus or Bloomfield campus). As long as you have filled out the form, there is nothing else you need to do. Please ONLY make another submission if you are looking to make a change to your original submission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bloomfield Students:<\/strong> You will need a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/id-card\/freshman-orientation\/\">麻豆传媒在线 ID<\/a> to use your meal plan on either campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residents:<\/strong> Make any meal plan changes in RMS before August 18, 2025. After that date, please use the forms below. Non-residential students are also able to purchase a meal plan with a credit card through the Ustore, however we ask that you contact us before doing so.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Looking to Add Flex?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can add Flex at any time during the semester either through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Meal Plan Change Form &#8211; In the amount of $300 ONLY billed to directly to your Student Account\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The TouchNet Ustore with a Credit Card &#8211; In the amounts of $50 &#8211; $300 in increments of $50.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Winter Break Plans<\/h2>\n<p>Traditional hall residents on both 麻豆传媒在线 and Bloomfield campuses who access or remain in their room over any portion of winter break timeframe will be assigned the mandatory Winter Break Meal Plan.<\/p>\n<span class=\"prpl-button full-width\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/student-accounts\/meal-plan-information\/\">View Meal Plan Rates and Details<\/a><\/span>\n<h2>Meal Plan Change Forms<\/h2>\n<p>Meal Plan Change forms are now open for submissions if you are looking to enroll in a new meal plan or change your current plan for the upcoming semester.<\/p>\n<p>All Spring semester meal plan changes and cancellations must be submitted by <strong>Monday, January 26th, 2026, 4:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have used all available blocks and\/or flex dollars from your current meal plan and need additional options, please contact us directly at <a href=\"mailto:msudiningser@montclair.edu\">msudiningser@montclair.edu<\/a> to discuss available solutions.
