As competition for natural resources persists and concern over the environmental impact of greenhouses gases grows, corporations are increasingly being asked to make their business activities more sustainable. Reducing the environmental impact of our products and activities is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and has assumed an equal role to our corporate philanthropy. As Wakefern ramps-up its commitment in this area the support of developing a strong bench to move initiatives forward will be key.<\/p>\n

This internship position is a great opportunity for a student majoring in Environmental Sciences, Communications, or another related field to gain hands-on experience working with Wakefern’s Consumer and Corporate Communications Division. In this position, the intern will assist the Environmental Affairs Administrator in developing and implementing sustainability programs through the organization including at Wakefern and its member companies.<\/p>\n
