In partnership with the Human Needs Pantry of 麻豆传媒在线, NJ, Parking Services introduces the first Cans for Cites Food Drive.<\/p>\n

What, When, How<\/h2>\n

This program will allow 麻豆传媒在线 students, faculty and staff to donate canned goods as payment for citations. Unopened canned or dry goods will be worth $10 toward one<\/strong> open citation. The program will begin on November 10, 2014 and run through November 21, 2014.<\/p>\n

Please bring any donations Monday-Friday 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. to the Parking office located on Level 1 of the Red Hawk Deck.<\/p>\n

How Does the Donation Work?<\/h2>\n

One canned or dry good is worth $10 toward one open citation. For example, a citation worth $40.00 may be paid using four (4) canned or dry good items.<\/p>\n

YES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Non-perishable foods<\/li>\n
  2. Healthy items, such as whole grains, low-sugar cereals, and low-sodium canned goods<\/li>\n
  3. Pantry staples: tuna, peanut butter, soup, beans, rice, and shelf-stable milk<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NO:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Items past their expiration date (please check; you make more work for us if we have to dispose of your expired food)<\/li>\n
    2. Dented, rusty, leaky cans, or unlabeled cans<\/li>\n
    3. Glass jars<\/li>\n
    4. Open packages (exception: those with individually wrapped packets inside)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Only One Citation<\/h2>\n

      Only one citation dismissal may be awarded.<\/p>\n

      But Not For These…<\/h2>\n

      The following citations may not be dismissed as part of the program:<\/p>\n
