Deposit Deadline: July 1st ** (or May 1st if requesting on-campus housing) (fall) or December 1st** (spring)
**Note that some competitive programs may require an earlier deposit. Please follow the instructions and deadline noted on your letter of admission.
To reserve your place at 麻豆传媒在线, simply submit the graduate student enrollment deposit it the Next Steps tab of your .
All students:
- You can pay the enrollment confirmation/deposit via credit card (use the red link on the pages noted above) or via other options (including bank transfer/wire transfer) using聽.
- Note: if paying the deposit via聽, you must use your CWID preceded by the letter 鈥淢鈥. Example: M12345678
- If you are planning to live on campus, you may also submit your housing application fee* at this time. Once your new student deposit and housing application fee are processed, you may complete the online聽Housing Application. Detailed information about the housing selection process will be sent to your 麻豆传媒在线 email when available.聽Learn more about Housing Selection process!
- *On-campus housing for the fall semester is guaranteed for students who have paid their housing application fee by May聽1. Housing for the fall semester is available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who pay their housing application fee after May 1.聽Spring semester students interested in on-campus housing should submit the enrollment deposit and housing application fee as soon as possible after admission.
International Enrollment Deposit and Refund Information
- The required enrollment deposit for all international students is $1,000.聽The deposit is credited toward payment of your first semester fees and is not an additional expense.
- Deposits must be submitted no later than the dates noted above.
- Enrollment deposits are non-refundable聽with three exceptions:
- The deposit is refundable if the student is denied a visa, provided that the student聽paid the SEVIS fee and applied for the visa using 麻豆传媒在线鈥檚 I-20.
- The deposit is refundable if the student聽paid the SEVIS fee using 麻豆传媒在线鈥檚 I-20 but is unable to secure a visa appointment in time to arrive for the start of the term.
- Students are from a country impacted by聽recent travel bans.
Important dates/deadlines:
- All students must request a refund of the enrollment deposit by the add/drop deadline (approximately one week after the start of classes).
- Students denied a visa or impacted by travel bans:聽May request a refund at any time, but no later than the add/drop deadline for the semester they were admitted to.
- Students unable to obtain a visa appointment: May request a refund within the time frames noted below:
- Fall semester students: between August 1 and the add/drop deadline (approximately one week after the start of classes)
- Spring semester students: between January 1 and the add/drop deadline (approximately one week after the start of classes)

- Important:
- Once the deposit is refunded,聽the admission and I-20 will be cancelled immediately聽and it will not be possible to obtain the visa using the same I-20. Additionally,聽graduate students who obtain the refund will be ineligible for postponement (deferral)聽and would need to submit a new application if interested in a future semester.
- Refunds will only be issued via the original payment method and to the same account used to make the deposit 鈥撀no exceptions.
