To ensure a smooth transition with your benefits and retirement plans, please review the steps below and take the necessary actions.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What You Need to Do:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Confirm Your Eligibility to Transfer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact the NJ Division of Pension and Benefits to determine whether you&#8217;re eligible to transfer without a break in service<\/li>\n<li>Email: <a href=\"mailto:pensions.nj@treas.nj.gov\">pensions.nj@treas.nj.gov<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Phone: 609-292-7524<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you&#8217;re eligible for a transfer without a break in service, there will be no lapse in coverage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coverage with your previous employer will end on the last day of the month in which you separate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coverage with 麻豆传媒在线 will begin on the first day of the following month.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your previous employer must process your termination in Benefitsolver before your benefits can be transferred to 麻豆传媒在线.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please note that it can take up to 2 weeks for your account to be transferred in BenefitSolver. This timeline begins from the date of your benefits termination in Benefitsolver.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once your account is transferred, log into Benefitsolver to enroll.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Flexible Spending Accounts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you were enrolled in a Health Care or Dependent Care FSA and would like to transfer your account to 麻豆传媒在线 you will need to do the following:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Send an email indicating which FSA you are enrolled in and your annual election amount to <a href=\"mailto:benefits@montclair.edu\">benefits@montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Retirement Systems<\/h3>\n<h4>PERS (Public Employees&#8217; Retirement System)<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>If you are currently in PERS and accepting a PERS-eligible position:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You will remain in PERS if there is no break in service.<\/li>\n<li>Your prior contributions will count toward the 10-year vesting period.<\/li>\n<li>Send an email with your last pension deduction to <a href=\"mailto:benefits@montclair.edu\">benefits@montclair.edu<\/a> to complete the transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you are currently in PERS and accepting an ABP-eligible position:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a one-time option to either remain in PERS or transfer to ABP.
