{"id":4312,"date":"2018-05-03T10:24:16","date_gmt":"2018-05-03T14:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/?page_id=4312"},"modified":"2022-09-09T09:12:24","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T13:12:24","slug":"faculty-staff-laptop-loan-requests","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/additional-facultystaff-services\/faculty-staff-laptop-loan-requests\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty\/Staff Laptop Loan Requests"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Faculty\/Staff Laptop Loan Requests<\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Daily\/Recurring Loan Process<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A number of mediated classrooms do not have a podium computer for use.\u00a0 If you need to borrow a laptop to teach, please fill out our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.service-now.com\/faculty_loan\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Equipment Loan Form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 Laptops are only available for loan for the class period and must be picked up and dropped off before and after class. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submissions must be completed a minimum of 2 business days before the requested loan period.\u00a0 This system strictly enforces the standard 24-hour loan period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recurring Loans<\/strong> (e.g. a loan for each Wednesday for the semester) can be accommodated <em><strong>by clicking the recurring loan button<\/strong><\/em> and defining the time period.<\/li>\n<li>Please use the comments section as needed to better describe request needs \u2013 especially when requesting a special set up of a laptop or to designate a student pick up of equipment on your behalf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please Note:\u00a0<\/strong> The asset loan availability is for 1 business day\/24-hour period and is based on asset availability.<\/p>\n<p>Each request has to be approved as we have a limited number of windows laptops. Upon approval, a laptop will be provided to you along with a timeline for return. Laptops are running a secured Windows 11 image and have a video camera to support Zoom functionality.
