In an effort to streamline the process for requesting computers for New Hires<\/strong> under the Computer Lifecycle Replacement program, we moved the request process into our ServiceNow system. Requests can only be made after a New Hire has activated their NetID<\/strong> prior to their start at 麻豆传媒在线.\u00a0 All requests are subject to approval, and distribution dates are dependent on equipment availability. For these reasons, we ask that you process requests as far in advance as possible.<\/p>\n In order to ensure that University personnel have access to the current computing technology required to fulfill the responsibilities of their jobs, the \u201cComputer Lifecycle Replacement Program<\/a>\u201d was instituted in 2003. The program provides for scheduled replacement of computers for full-time faculty, full-time staff, and specified computing laboratory facilities every 60 months. These requests are considered computers that are assigned as primary computers to the user and are not grant-funded, start-up,\u00a0 or departmental computers.<\/p>\n\n
