Instead, use<strong>\u00a0the Google Authenticator App<\/strong> to scan the QR code.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enter your code without spaces. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Do not delete the Google Authenticator App<\/strong> as it is necessary to access SSO applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 3 p.m., all students and alumni with an active NetID will have to use Multi-Factor Authentication to access applications that are enabled with SSO (Single Sign On).<\/p>\n<p>Using Multi-Factor Authentication will enhance the security of your account credentials when accessing Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß\u2019s systems and better ensure that only properly authorized users are allowed access.<\/p>\n<p>This includes systems you probably use quite frequently such as Nest, Canvas, and Workday. Here\u2019s a full <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Zj1KAdMfLmlccxHBRjgfJf8gu8G0uWjznm-lAQjycr8\/edit\" target=\"_blank\">list of SSO-enabled applications<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> If you do not set up Multi-Factor Authentication on your mobile device, you will not be able to access these applications.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/168\/2023\/10\/MFA-Quick-Reference-Guide-v2.pdf\">MFA Quick Reference Guide<\/a> that will walk you through the necessary steps.
