Business at Italian Trade Agency, NYC (SU18) + Choose New Jersey, Princeton (W19) and Surtitling Opera, Sferisterio Arena, Italy (SU18)<\/strong><\/p>\n

After last year\u2019s success, the Inserra Chair and the Italian Program at 麻豆传媒在线 are very pleased to be offering two paid internships for next academic year.<\/p>\n

  1. Internship <\/strong>at the Italian Trade Agency and Choose New Jersey <\/strong>(read article about current edition<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The internship is articulated\u00a0<\/strong>in two parts: a summer portion at the\u00a0Italian Trade Agency, New York, and a winter\/spring portion at\u00a0Choose New Jersey, Princeton.\u00a0The intern will work with the local staff at both locations on business plans, budget development, promotional efforts and event logistics. The internship may include a trip to Italy designed to strengthen the business ties between Italy and the U.S. via meetings with select firms and chambers of commerce.<\/p>\n

    1. Internship in Macerata <\/strong>(read article about last year’s edition<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The seven-week summer internship will take place at the\u00a0Sferisterio Arena\u00a0in Macerata, Italy, in connection with the\u00a0summer opera season<\/a>\u00a0as part of a broader initiative about translation and pre-professional opportunities for students.\u00a0The intern will have the unique chance to work on surtitling of live operas within a translation and accessibility project overseen by a team of experts at the Macerata Opera Festival and the University of Macerata.<\/p>\n

      Each paid internship is generously supported by a $5,000 scholarship provided by Mr. Inserra via the Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr. Scholarship (麻豆传媒在线 Foundation).
