We&#8217;re excited for the start of a new semester and have pulled together all the essential library information you&#8217;ll need into this post. Contact our<a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libanswers.com\"> Ask a Librarian service<\/a> if you have any questions.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s Required to Enter and What&#8217;s New<\/h2>\n<p>Masks are optional in the Library.<\/p>\n<p>Follow all CDC and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/redhawk-restart\/\">university guidelines<\/a> as posted. This includes visitors, community members, and alumni.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW!<\/strong> Group study rooms, viewing and listening rooms, and collaborative spaces may be reserved in advance, first come, first served.\u00a0 <p class=\"prpl-button-row\"><span class=\"prpl-button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libcal.com\/reserve\/spaces\/studyspaces\">Reserve a Study Space<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Hours<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday\u00a0 &#8212; Thursday:<\/strong> 8:00 a.m. \u2013 10:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday:<\/strong> 8:00 a.m. \u2013 8 :00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday: <\/strong>9:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunday: <\/strong>12:00 p.m. \u2013 9:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: We have special hours for Spring Recess, Easter Weekend, and finals\/end of the semester. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/about-the-library\/hours\">\u00a0See the full calendar of library hours here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When the Library building is closed, please visit the library website at <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1652194515243000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0UTAEXz-2wkuAoVoJiXo9-\">https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/<\/a> for 24 hour access to our online resources as well as 24\/7 chat.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s Open and Available<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All of our book stacks and study spaces, including all of our group study rooms.<\/li>\n<li>Borrowing and Interlibrary Services\n<ul>\n<li>Items (books, DVDs, etc.) may be returned at the front desk or through the 24 hour book drop in the entrance to the building.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/reserves\/\">Print reserves and multimedia reserves<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/interlibrary-services\/\">Interlibrary loans<\/a> (including print books) can be picked up at the front desk or via Patio Pickup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libanswers.com\/\">Ask a Librarian<\/a> in-person and online reference service, including chat, email, text, FAQ and appointments. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/about-the-library\/hours\">See reference hours<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libcal.com\/appointments\">Online and in-person research appointments<\/a> for faculty, staff and students are held via Zoom or in the library.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/instruction-and-workshops\/\">Online workshops and library classes<\/a> (arranged by instructors) for students on how to do research and use library resources are held over Zoom, in the Library, or in your classroom.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/services-and-spaces\/technology-and-equipment\/\">Laptops, scanners, and printing<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Public computers remain available for library research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What\u2019s Not Available<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>See the <a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.libanswers.com\/systems\/\">library status and updates page<\/a> to keep up to date with the availability of library spaces, services and resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the Spring &#8217;24 semester at 麻豆传媒在线!
