Joseph Pierre, a senior math major graduating in May 2022, recently received news about starting a full-time position with Teach for America in Philadelphia, PA<\/a>. Joseph will be graduating with a BA in Mathematics and a concentration in Statistics. As a middle school math teacher for Teach for America, Joseph will be able to make an impact on the lives of many high-need students by working directly with the school district to continuously improve the educational system. Joseph will receive salary and benefits, as well as support to attend classes to earn a teaching certification.
