German companies like Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, DHL Shipping, Allianz, Deutsche Bank, UBS, T-Mobile, Merck, Bayer, Pfizer, BASF Chemicals, Aldi, Adidas, and many others have an important presence in American markets, and American companies are increasingly launching international European offices based in German-speaking countries.<\/p>\n<p>German and Swiss companies typically have strong salaries, excellent benefits, and opportunities for international travel and growth.<\/p>\n<p>For these reasons, many students at MSU choose to combine their study of Business with study of German.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are many ways to combine interests in German and Business at MSU:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Major in <a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.montclair.edu\/programs\/german-ba\/\">German<\/a>, with Minor in <a href=\"https:\/\/business.montclair.edu\/programs\/undergraduate-programs\/minor-business\">Business<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/business.montclair.edu\/programs\/undergraduate-programs\/minor-entrepreneurship\">Entrepreneurship<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/business.montclair.edu\/programs\/undergraduate-programs\/minor-economics\">Economics<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/business.montclair.edu\/programs\/undergraduate-programs\/minor-business-relationships-personal-selling\">Business Relationships and Professional Selling<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/language-business-and-culture\/\">Language, Business &amp; Culture Major<\/a> with Concentration in German.<\/li>\n<li>Major in Business with a <a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.montclair.edu\/programs\/german-minor\/\">minor in German<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Full year or Semester exchange program with <a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.studioabroad.com\/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgram&amp;Program_ID=26549\">Graz, Austria<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.studioabroad.com\/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgramAngular&amp;id=59610\">Konstanz, Germany<\/a>. Many Business courses offered at each, including courses in English.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.studioabroad.com\/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgramAngular&amp;id=59611\">Summer 4-week August intensive language program<\/a> in Konstanz, Germany. All levels.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transatlanticentrepreneurshipacademy.org\/\">Spring Transatlantic Entrepreneurship Academy<\/a> MSU international collaborative course including a week hosting Austrian students here and a week traveling with professors in Austria. Taught by business faculty members <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/entrepreneur\/our-team-and-philosophy\/jason-m-frasca\/\">Jason Frasca<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/profilepages\/view_profile.php?username=kerri\">Iain Kerr<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Individualized advising.
