The courses are taught by the same distinguished faculty who instruct in the university&#8217;s undergraduate degree program, ensuring a high standard of education from leading animation and visual effects professionals.<\/p>\n<p>During your week on campus, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain exposure to a collegiate learning environment in our state of the art computer labs.<\/li>\n<li>Each day will be a full day of learning a new aspect of animation and visual effects.<\/li>\n<li><strong>3D Modeling<\/strong>: Students will be hands-on learning the basics of 3D sculpting using ZBrush.<\/li>\n<li><strong>3D Animation<\/strong>: Students will be lead through the fundamentals of character animation using Autodesk Maya.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Experimental Animation<\/strong>: Students will explore various methods using stop-motion and frame by frame techniques.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unreal Engine<\/strong>: Students will gain a basic understanding of game concepts and hands-on learning of the Unreal software.<\/li>\n<li>Learn best practices, technical tips and tricks.<\/li>\n<li>Embark on a hosted one-day trip to New York City for an exclusive tour of a cutting-edge visual effects studio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will explore the heart of creativity as we guide you through the studio, where you&#8217;ll witness the latest technologies, innovative techniques, and the collaborative efforts that bring cinematic visions to life. Engage with industry professionals, ask questions, and immerse yourself in the dynamic environment that shapes the visual effects landscape.<\/p>\n<p>By incorporating this blend of structured and unstructured experiences, the Animation &amp; VFX Pre-College Program offers a comprehensive learning environment that extends beyond the technical aspects of animation and visual effects.
