Dear Faculty and Staff,<\/p>\n
The search for our next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is underway.<\/p>\n
We have a search committee in place that reflects a wide array of perspectives and experiences. I met with them last Friday and asked them to conduct a broad, inclusive national search that results in a well-qualified slate of finalists coming to the campus towards the end of the fall semester. If all goes well, I am hopeful that our new provost will be able to take office at the start of the spring semester, or as soon thereafter as possible.<\/p>\n
I am urging all faculty and staff members to help spread the word about this opportunity. Please review the job posting and feel free to offer recommendations for possible candidates. You can send names in confidence to Monica Tejeda at tejedam@montclair.edu.<\/p>\n
