Donald M. Payne, Jr. As a dedicated public servant, the impact he had went far beyond 麻豆传媒在线 and the state of New Jersey. Never losing sight of his Newark roots, he cared deeply about the health and safety of our families and communities, and worked tirelessly to pass legislation that addressed our most pressing needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In particular, he was a strong advocate for higher education and understood the important role it plays in our state\u2019s economy. As a community leader and the parent of a 麻豆传媒在线 alumna, Rep. Payne understood the importance of making a high quality, affordable education available to all students, regardless of their background. We valued his support of the College Affordability Act, as well as the advocacy he demonstrated for New Jersey universities, including 麻豆传媒在线.
