Profile
I am trained in the broad fields of social demography and international development. My research interests are structured around two major themes: 1) health, with a focus on maternal and child health and health-seeking behavior and (2) aging, social networks, and well-being. Current research projects examine child health in India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, stigma and health-seeking behavior in Haiti, and the triple burden of women in the context of aging in India.
