For specific information on enrollment fees please see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/admissions\/learn-more\/informationfor\/accepted-students\/\">Accepted Students<\/a>. Our housing process is done completely online and there is no paper application to complete or submit.<\/p>\n<p>For those who do not meet the above criteria, including students who may be accepted to the University after these dates, housing is not guaranteed. Every effort will be made to accommodate students in this category as space becomes available.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How Do I Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pay the $300.00 Housing Application Fee online through <a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.edu\/nest\">NEST<\/a> or in person at the Office of Student Accounts. Payment info can be found on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/bills-payment\/payment-options\/\">Red Hawk Central website<\/a>. The housing application fee is due by May 1.\n<ul>\n<li>First year students for spring semester do not have a deadline for their housing application fee. We recommend submitting your deposit as soon as possible. Information for housing is emailed to students in December and on a rolling basis!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iams-amc.montclair.edu\/page-intro\">Activate your 麻豆传媒在线 NetID<\/a> (your NetID is your 麻豆传媒在线 Email account). The emails we send will be sent to your 麻豆传媒在线 Email account.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students will be emailed during the month of May about our housing selection process, which takes place in June. Students will be expected to enter the Residential Management System (<a href=\"https:\/\/rms.montclair.edu\/\">RMS<\/a>) to complete their online housing agreement, lifestyle preferences, room type preferences prior to selecting housing.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students requesting housing accommodations due to a medical condition, in addition to completing the RMS preferences must submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/residence-life\/apply-for-housing\/request-for-medical-housing-accommodations\/?\">Request for Medical Accommodations<\/a> by the semester deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Incoming Graduate Students<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>Campus housing is not just for our undergraduate students, it&#8217;s available for graduate students, too! If you are a new student and have not registered your NetID, be sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/iams-amc.montclair.edu\/page-account-claiming\">complete that first!<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-step\"><div class=\"prpl-step-number\"><span class=\"label-part\">Step<\/span> <span class=\"number-part\">2<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-step-content\">\n<p>Select either &#8220;Go to New Students Homepage&#8221; or &#8221; Go to Current Students Homepage&#8221; and then click on &#8220;Housing Selection Homepage&#8221; to enter your personalized RMS homepage.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-step\"><div class=\"prpl-step-number\"><span class=\"label-part\">Step<\/span> <span class=\"number-part\">3<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-step-content\">\n<p>Scroll down to the Prepare for Housing Selection section of the page. Click the green arrow next to &#8220;Complete My Housing Agreement&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-step\"><div class=\"prpl-step-number\"><span class=\"label-part\">Step<\/span> <span class=\"number-part\">4<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-step-content\">\n<p>Follow each direction on the page. You will use your CWID number (excluding the &#8216;M&#8217;) as your electronic signature for your housing agreement.<\/p>\n<p>You will also be able to submit room style preferences and lifestyle preferences. These preferences\u00a0<strong>do not<\/strong> select a housing assignment for you and\u00a0<strong>do not<\/strong> guarantee a specific style of housing.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to select &#8220;Finish&#8221; at the end of the page to complete your housing application.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"prpl-step\"><div class=\"prpl-step-number\"><span class=\"label-part\">Step<\/span> <span class=\"number-part\">5<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-step-content\">\n<p>You will now wait to either participate in housing selection or be assigned a room depending on the semester that you are applying for housing. Once you have selected housing or been assigned housing, you will receive a Housing Confirmation email.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p>You will receive all of your housing application summaries to your 麻豆传媒在线 email account as confirmation that you have completed the process properly. We will be communicating specific move-in instructions over the summer break for the fall semester and winter break for the spring semester.
