Dear Students:

The University is currently developing plans for reopening safely in the fall. To comply with the State of New Jersey’s health and safety guidelines for universities, we plan to offer many classes in a hybrid format, which includes both in-person instruction combined with some online instruction. This allows students options for on campus instruction, and makes it possible for us to have socially-distanced in-person classes. We will also continue to offer some classes in a 100% online format, so that students who need that option have access to it.

There are actually five different options, or MODALITIES, for how classes will be delivered, three of which have on campus, face to face components. You can learn more about these modalities on the Registrar’s web page: Course Instruction Fall 2020.

As we go through the planning process, we are making adjustments to room assignments and modalities in the schedule. Therefore, we are temporarily closing registration from Friday, July 3 until Friday, July 10.
