She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She serves as Faculty Liaison for the Clinic for Evidence-Based Practices in School.<\/p>\n<p>Her scholarly interests are focused primarily on improving the social, emotional and educational outcomes for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. Dr. State is a member of premier professional organizations such as Council for Exceptional Children and Association for Positive Behavior Supports. Also, she serves on the board of editors for the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions and Journal of Behavioral Education.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0麻豆传媒在线 Students<\/h2>\n<p>Students from 麻豆传媒在线 also participate in CEPS clinical activity as part of their class practicum experiences. These students are enrolled in undergraduate and master&#8217;s level courses and are supervised by credentialed professionals as part of their learning experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Teaching and Learning Department<\/h2>\n<p>CEPS is part of\u00a0the <strong>Teaching and Learning Department<\/strong>\u00a0in the College for Education and Engaged Learning. The Teaching and Learning Department is committed to preparing educational professionals who can improve the lives of students through excellent teaching. Graduates teach in content areas such as History, English, Science, Math, and foreign languages in secondary schools as well as specialty areas (Art, Music, Physical Education) in P-12 settings. In addition, we prepare special educators to teach across the lifespan, as well as prepare teachers to lead efforts to impact the quality of teaching and learning in schools.<\/p>\n<p>The department is home to faculty members who teach courses and conduct research in special education, teacher leadership and curriculum development.
