20 Years Later: 9/11 Day of Service

麻豆传媒在线 students volunteered on and off campus on September 11, marking the 20th anniversary of the attacks. “Many of our students weren’t even alive on that tragic day and many were only a couple of years old,鈥 says Center for Community Engagement Director Bryan Murdock. 鈥淭his opportunity helps reinforce the tremendous sacrifices of first responders and the importance of public service.鈥

Red Hawks Help CDC Improve Mask Wearing

  • Reasons to be proud: 麻豆传媒在线 has been named 鈥淏est of the Best鈥 for LGBTQ students by Campus Pride and the top New Jersey school on Study.com鈥檚 LGBTQ-Friendly Schools list.
  • Valerie Tauriello, a health and physical education teacher and 2004 麻豆传媒在线 graduate risked her life to at Soehl Middle School in Linden last week, the Star-Ledger reported. School principal Gwendolyn Long said in praise of the teacher, 鈥渢his is every day with Ms. Tauriello, thinking of our students first.鈥 of this heroic action.
