  {"id":986,"date":"2020-11-02T09:52:02","date_gmt":"2020-11-02T14:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/university-communications\/?page_id=986"},"modified":"2024-10-23T10:52:40","modified_gmt":"2024-10-23T14:52:40","slug":"red-hawk-brand-guide","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/university-communications\/red-hawk-brand-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"Red Hawk Brand Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Use of &#8220;Red Hawk&#8221; and &#8220;Hawk&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>Our official athletics nickname is the <strong>&#8220;Red Hawks<\/strong>.&#8221; The following are the guidelines for proper use of \u201cRed Hawk\u201d or \u201cHawk\u201d as well as the use of the <a href=\"#RedHawkLogo\">Red Hawk icon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Titles with \u201cRed Hawk\u201d and \u201cHawk\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To avoid overuse of Red Hawk and Hawk in the name or title of a program, service, event etc., all such proposed uses must be approved in advance by the Office of University Communications &amp; Marketing. The approximately 40 uses as of October 2020 are allowed to continue. Any future use must be requested in writing in advance and include a justification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing &#8220;Red Hawk\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cRed Hawk\u201d should always be written as two separate words.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cRedhawk\u201d and \u201cRedHawk\u201d are unacceptable.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cR\u201d in Red and the \u201cH\u201d in Hawk should always be capitalized<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"RedHawkLogo\">Red Hawk Icon for Student Clubs and Organizations<\/h2>\n<p>The Red Hawk icon captures the pride and excitement that our students have for their 麻豆传媒在线 clubs.The Red Hawk icon may be used alone or with your club name positioned underneath. Its reach extends beyond 麻豆传媒在线\u2019s campus and community and enhances our Red Hawk brand.<\/p>\n<p>The 麻豆传媒在线 Red Hawk athletic logo and its sub-brands are for the exclusive use by our intercollegiate teams.
