Elise Lahiere, a doctoral candidate in the Math Education PhD program at �鶹��ý����, and Rachel Maggard, a Coordinator in the Center for STEM Excellence at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), presented a poster at : “Student Engagement & Experiential Learning”, which took place at EKU. Their poster, Preparing Student Partners to Facilitate Engaging Learning Experiences, discussed a method for supporting student employees through an active learning professional development session that utilized mathematical modeling as a vehicle to introduce the topic of scaffolding and emphasize its importance.
