The book is titled “S3D: Fostering and Improving Small-Group, Student-to-Student Discourse.” Dr. Quebec Fuentes is a professor of mathematics education at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX.  She earned her doctorate in mathematics education at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÔÚÏß in 2009.  Her dissertation was titled “The Evolution of One Teacher’s Interactions with Students Working in Small Groups to Improve their Communication, Self­ Regulating, and Problem­ Solving Skills.”  Her research focuses on classroom discourse, teacher knowledge, educative curriculum, teacher self-efficacy, collaboration, and developing fraction sense.
