Prior to MSU, she described herself as “never capable of actually understanding [math],” and she said that “with the help of the amazing professors at MSU, I have gained so much confidence in myself and my ability to learn new concepts.” In the beginning of her course with Dr. DiNapoli, she discovered the power in “[teaching] students to actually learn and understand the material instead of just teaching them procedures.”
